The Queensland Government participates in a range of networks with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. The networks provide practical support to, and foster cooperation between, government and the communities.
  • Government Champions

  • Roundtable meetings

    The Minister for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Services holds Ministerial Indigenous Roundtables to review priority areas identified in the Indigenous Partnership Agreement (IPA).

  • Negotiation tables

    Information about Queensland negotiation table meetings, which are responsible for negotiating Local Indigenous Partnership Agreements.

  • Indigenous Coordination Centres (ICCs)

    Indigenous Coordination Centres (ICCs) look after most of the Australian Government's Indigenous programs. The centres focus on bringing together funding packages to meet local and regional needs.

  • Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Advisory Council

    The Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Advisory Council gives the Queensland Government advice on policies, programs, services and partnerships to support Tomorrow's Queensland and Closing the Gap targets.
