Share your story articles are about celebrating the good news in Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

Communities are invited to submit their own stories for publishing on the website.

For example, you might have a story you'd like to share about your community youth group, a project you've been running in your community or one of your community leaders.

Terms of use

Each story is submitted to, reviewed and approved by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Services (ATSIS) before publication.

Any photos you submit will be checked by ATSIS prior to publishing, for consent.

All stories and photos must have been created by you. This means that you own the copyright of the content you are submitting for publishing.

In submitting your story and/or photo you are permitting ATSIS to edit and use your story and photo on this website.

Technical requirements

Photos you upload with your story must be in jpg, gif, png format. These are formats used for images.

File size for your image must not exceed 1MB.
