Child Protection Week promotes the belief that protecting children and young people is everyone's responsibility.
Child Protection Week is coordinated nationally by the National Association for Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect and in Queensland by the Child Protection Week Committee under the auspices of ACT for Kids.

Child Protection Awards
The annual Child Protection Awards acknowledge the efforts and commitment of Queenslanders who make a significant contribution to our community to prevent child harm and neglect.
Nominations are now open and will close on Friday 5 July 2013. For a copy of the Award Nomination Form and Award Fact Sheet, go to the Child Protection Week website.
Winners will be announced during Child Protection Week.

Apply for a grant
A range of grants are available to support events and activities that promote the protection of Queensland children.
To apply for a Regional Grant of up to $3000 (inclusive of GST), download the Regional Event Funding form from the Child Protection Week website. Applications for Regional Grants close on Monday 20 May 2013.
To apply for an Activity Grant of up to $1000 (inclusive of GST), download the Activity Grants Application form from the Child Protection Week website. Applications for Activity Grants close on Friday 24 May 2013.
