The Child Protection Queensland: 2004 Child Protection System 'Baseline' Performance Report is the first instalment in an annual performance measurement framework established by the Queensland Government to monitor, review and evaluate the effectiveness of the child protection reform agenda.
The first 'baseline' report captures data to 30 June 2004, prior to the official launch of the Department of Child Safety in September 2004. The report provides a benchmark against which the impact of the implementation Blueprint reforms can be effectively measured.
This report was prepared by the Department of Child Safety, and contains data supplied by ten government agencies to provide a comprehensive picture of child protection in Queensland.
