We have developed a quality assurance (QA) framework for government and non-government services that outlines standards for the licensing of non-government services.
Our department has a commitment to deliver quality, meaningful services and our QA framework enhances our ability to monitor and improve the quality of service delivery by non-government child protection services.
The framework has three core elements:
- defining quality - developing service standards for child protection services.
- measuring quality - measuring current levels of performance or compliance against the defined service standards and implementing compliance monitoring processes.
- improving quality - using quality improvement methods to continuously address deficiencies and enhance strengths in service provision.
