About the conference
The Queensland Government hosted the inaugural Queensland Suicide and Self-Harm Prevention Conference 2006: Sharing learnings from practice and research on 30-31 March 2006 at The Mercure Hotel Brisbane.
This two-day conference provided delegates with current information and knowledge to effectively work towards the prevention of suicide and self-harm.
Over 420 delegates attended the conference including service providers (government and non-government), researchers, academics, community groups and policy makers.
