If you are replacing your electric hot water system and switch to solar you could save on your electricity bill. The Queensland Government Solar Hot Water Rebate provides rebates of $1000 (for pensioners and low income earners) or $600, for the installation of a heat pump or solar hot water system.

To apply for the rebate, there are strict requirements about the type of system that can be purchased and how it is installed. This is to help ensure your system is of good quality, is installed safely and maximises environmental savings.
