Increased electricity rebates for pensioners and seniors

From 1 July 2011 the Queensland Government will increase the electricity rebate for eligible Queenslanders to a maximum of $230.46 per year. Find out if you are eligible and how to claim the rebate.

Medical cooling and heating electricity concession scheme

Eligible Queenslanders with a specific medical condition are entitled to a concession of $230.46 per year to assist with electricity costs for running air-conditioners to help regulate body temperature.

Electricity Life Support Concession

Assistance is available to eligible users of oxygen concentrators and kidney dialysis machines. The concession is to contribute to the electricity cost of running these machines.
