Customer service recognition

Each year, the department recognises those businesses participating in the Seniors Business Discount Card and the Carer Business Discount Card schemes that go the extra mile for their senior and carer customers through the Customer Service Recognition program.

How to nominate a business

If you hold a Seniors Card, Seniors Card +go, a Seniors Business Discount Card or a Carer Business Discount Card, you can nominate your favourite business listed in the directory for providing outstanding customer service. Only businesses registered as providing discounts, special offers or services to eligible cardholders can be nominated. Cardholders can nominate one business each year.

Nominations can be made through any of the following ways:

We need to know:

  • the business name
  • the business address
  • why this business should be recognised for outstanding service to seniors or carers (in 25 words or less)
  • your card number (if applicable)
  • your address.

Nominations for the 2012 Customer Service Recognition program closed on 14 October 2011. However, nominations received after the closing date will be included for a Customer Service Recognition for the following year.
