The Queensland Seniors Card, Seniors Card +go and Seniors Business Discount Card are accepted at thousands of businesses throughout Queensland. You can also use these cards interstate at businesses participating in discount card schemes for seniors.

When you join the scheme, a Business Discount Directory for Seniors and Carers or your region will be mailed to you with your card. You will receive an updated version of the directory each year unless you indicate otherwise. The directory lists businesses participating in the scheme and their discounts.

You will also find an up-to-date list of participating businesses and their websites online.

The Seniors Card, Seniors Card +go and Seniors Business Discount Card are easy to use. Simply present your card at participating businesses to receive the discount or offer. Please ensure you present your card before requesting a quote, negotiating a price, ordering goods or paying for a product or service.

Can I use my Queensland Seniors Card interstate?

Yes, seniors who travel interstate can receive concession fares on transport.

In return, seniors from other states who travel to Queensland can recceive concession fares on public transport.

This concession only applies to Seniors Card and Seniors Card +go holders. It does not apply to Seniors Business Discount Card holders.

Many interstate businesses also extend their discounts to Queensland cardholders. To find interstate businesses that recognise the Queensland Seniors Card, contact the relevant Seniors Card office and ask for a directory to be posted to you.

Interstate Seniors Card can be used in Queensland

Look for the 'map of Australia' symbol in the discount directory, which indicates a business offers a discount to interstate card holders.
