The following are examples of our initiatives and services aimed at providing young people with an opportunity to participate in their communities and in making decisions that impact their lives.
  • Youth engagement grants

    Funding that supports Queenslanders aged 12 to 25 to discuss and act on issues of concern to them and to participate in making decisions and developing services in their communities.

  • Indigenous youth parliament

    Giving Indigenous youth an opportunity to have a say about decisions impacting on their communities.

  • YMCA Queensland youth parliament

    A program that involves young people aged between 15 and 25 from the 89 electorates in Queensland who are keen to make a difference in their communities.

  • Get On Board

    Outlines how young people and other community members can become involved on a Government boards and/or committees.

  • Young people and local government

    Giving young people the opportunity to provide input and advice in their local government.

  • Get Involved

    The Queensland Government’s website that outlines how to have a say about the key issues being considered by government and how to participate in your community.

  • Queensland Youth Forum

    The Queensland Youth Forum is an opportunity for young people from across the state to have their say and help shape their future.
