On Thursday 28 May, 40 young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Queenslanders made history by participating in Queensland's inaugural Indigenous Youth Parliament.

The young people debated an Indigenous Communities Bill, the aim of which was to improve the social, educational and economic prospects for Indigenous youth in Queensland.
