Youth Week

Youth Week 5 - 14 April 2013

Be Active. Be Happy. Be You.

National Youth Week is Australia’s largest celebration of and for young people between 12 and 25 years old.

As a young Queenslander you're invited to celebrate your talents, skills, achievements and adventure by exchanging ideas, acting on issues you find important and taking part in what’s sure to be a jam-packed week.

Full of sports, workshops, competitions, performances and forums around Queensland, make sure you leave your mark on Youth Week.

This is a chance to let your community know what you’re thinking about.

Above all, it’s a time to enjoy and celebrate.

In partnership with PCYC

This year the Queensland Government is working in partnership with PCYC to bring you the 2013 Youth Week celebrations.

PCYC is active in 61 communities across Queensland and the organisation has a strong track record of working with young Queenslanders and delivering a range of youth services.

PCYC are planning more than 40 events across the state including music festivals, dance events and art workshops. In many locations, events will include local services showcasing information on health and wellbeing.

What's on

We would like to capture as much as possible of what's going on around the state for National Youth Week 2013. Check out the calendar of Queensland events or search for an event near you.

If you are running an event, please make sure to register your event details. We want to hear all about it.
