2012 Events

All funding for 2012 National Youth Week has now been allocated. The online calendar will soon be up, detailing what exciting events are going on around Queensland that you can attend. Youth Week 2012 will be held from Friday 13 to Sunday 22 April and the theme this year is 'Imagine. Create. Inspire.'

Event ideas for 2012

It's not too late to start planning a National Youth Week event! Check out our tips on how to organise a successful Youth Week event. If you're stuck for ideas, have a look at what event organisers did for Youth Week 2011. Last year more than 150 events were held across Queensland including battle of the bands, sporting competitions, creative workshops, skateboarding competitions, theatre performances and talent quests.

Free resources

If you want free promotional resources for your 2012 event, you can register your event on the online calendar here: http://www.nationalyouthweek.com.au/events Once you have registered, we will send you out a resource order form for your free promotional resources. The event calendar is a great way to advertise your events to the rest of Queensland, and even Australia! We’d like to see as many events registered as possible this year!
