What does a community support officer (community and youth) do?

Community support officers promote and support the quality of community services for a range of client groups such as families, individuals, young people, seniors and children. They do this by:

What qualifications do you need?

Community support officers are employed from a range of backgrounds including human services, social work, psychology, education and health. While a tertiary background is valued it is not a prerequisite.
