In any of these roles, you will collaborate closely with your peers in other disciplines to provide a range of ICT and information services across the department. These services focus mainly on managing policy, planning, strategy, and governance.
While you are located in Brisbane, you will liaise closely with service delivery staff across the state, supporting them with their information needs.

What qualifications do you need?
With such a variety of career opportunities in information management, we require skills and experience in many areas — both operational and strategic.
Tertiary qualifications can be an advantage in some disciplines but are not essential. We are looking for experience in:
- records management qualifications and experience (Certificate III or IV)
- web development skills and qualifications
- policy development
- project management
- system administration
- data entry skills
- strategic planning
- asset management.
What personal attributes do you need?
You will need to be a good communicator, a team player and enjoy working with other professionals. You will also need:
- excellent writing skills
- initiative
- problem-solving skills
- ability to differentiate between theory and practicality
- attention to detail
- creativity.
