Our Place, Our Future Funding Initiative
Following the resignation of the former Queensland Premier on 10 September 2007, a number of machinery of government changes have taken place including the appointment of the Honourable Minister Pitt to lead Local Government and Main Roads. As a result, the Blueprint for the Bush has been transferred from the Department of Communities to the Department of Local Government, Sport and Recreation.
Whilst the Blueprint for the Bush Strategy is being transferred, a number of arrangements are being finalised to allow final approval for the Blueprint for the Bush Strengthening Rural Communities funding programs.
Applicants awaiting outcomes of their recent submissions will be notified.
The Office of Rural and Regional Communities Information Paper and Guidelines and Submission Form for the next round closing 1 September 2008 are currently being redeveloped and will be available on this site soon.
Future rounds close - 1 September 2008 and 24 November 2008.
