Child care
The Queensland Department of Communities is responsible for the monitoring, resourcing and licensing of child care services regulated under the Child Care Act 2002 . The department also has a role in planning and funding child care and family support services that meet the diverse and changing needs of Queensland families. In addition, the department is committed to ensuring parents and other interested people have information about the range, availability and location of child care services as well as the criteria for choosing quality child care services.
