Scouts Queensland and Guides Australia have truly embraced the 2011 Disability Action Week theme to 'empower, enable, everybody' by hosting an annual Agoonoree for more than 30 years.
This year, the disability message was also incorporated into 'Scouts in Action Week' which had the theme of Disability Awareness.
Scouts Queensland and Guides Australia have been acknowledged for introducing these initiatives which recognise that inclusion of people with different needs is vital to our community. They are an excellent example of organisations that recognise the true value of inclusion.
