I had a dream to become an audiologist. I was diagnosed at the age of three-and-a-half and now have a mild to profound bi-lateral sensorineural hearing loss.

Even though I was developmentally delayed and my speech was poor, with the help of wonderful family and teachers I was able to not only attend mainstream schooling, but complete high school, graduate from university with a Bachelor of Learning Management (Primary) and finally graduate with a Masters in Audiology Studies.

Even though my education journey was not always smooth sailing, the hurdles were overcome with the help of the fantastic people I met along the way. They were simply more than willing to go that extra step to help me achieve my dream of becoming an audiologist. I am living my dream and working as an audiologist with the aim of helping and inspiring others!

Never, ever give up on your dreams, no matter how hard it may seem to achieve them.
