The Disability Sector Quality System (DSQS):
- promotes continuous improvement of systems and processes
- includes feedback from service users and providers
- ensures service users have an integral role in providing feedback
- service providers must establish mechanisms for service user feedback and input.
The DSQS requires that evidence is provided to demonstrate that a specified standard of quality has been met against the Queensland Disability Service Standards or Queensland Disability Advocacy Standards. Continuous improvement in the organisation's systems and processes also needs to be demonstrated at each subsequent audit.
