The Queensland Government has been active in acknowledging workforce development as a key issue and developed a range of strategies to support the sector.
To help inform the direction of workforce initiatives, the consultancy firm ConNetica was engaged in November 2009 for a 10-month project to research and develop a profile of the Home and Community Care workforce.
