Safe Haven
Safe Haven is a service to support our children and young people in Indigenous communities to minimise the harm experienced by domestic and family violence.
Services will be established in Cherbourg, Palm Island, Mornington Island and Coen, and will:
- provide an immediate service for children and young people (0 to 18) to be safely away from potential harm
- give support to families who need help to deal with the issues that cause domestic and family violence.
