Cairns Indigenous Art Fair (CIAF) will build on last year’s success that produced more than $500,000 in art sales and saw more than 10,000 visitors enjoy a vibrant celebration of visual art, dance, music and culture.
Michael Snelling returns as artistic director, working closely with respected Torres Strait Islander curator Brian Robinson.
The weekend program includes traditional and contemporary dancers and performers, Friday night concert, artists’ talks, workshops and activities for kids and families.
The art fair returns: a buyer’s delight with work from Indigenous Art centres and commercial galleries side-by-side.
