Appealing departmental decisions

Some decisions made by departmental staff about housing services provided to clients or registered housing providers can be appealed (reviewed).

For details about what decisions can be appealed (reviewed) and the formal process to follow, please read the relevant fact sheet.

Applications for an appeal (review) must be in writing and must use the correct application form. On this form, you must give details of the decision you wish to have appealed (reviewed) and your reasons for doing so. You will need to make the application within 28 days of becoming aware of the decision.
