Child safety practice manual

The Department of Communities is the lead agency for the whole of government response to child protection in Queensland. The Child Safety Practice Manual is one of a set of 'authority documents' that collectively make up the policy and procedural documentation of the Department of Child Safety. The purpose of the practice manual is to facilitate standardised practice across the state.

Code of Conduct for the Queensland Public Service

The single Code of Conduct for the Queensland Public Service (the Code) is one element of the Queensland Government's Integrity and Accountability reforms and assists in supporting ethical standards of behaviour and expectation across government. Underpinning the Code are the four ethics principles contained in the Public Sector Ethics Act 1994, which are fundamental to open, transparent and accountable public administration and form the standard of conduct expected of all public service employees.
