Throughout the year, the department organises and sponsors a range of events that support our goal of building fair, cohesive and vibrant communities.
The department also supports community events that promote positive outcomes for women, people from linguistically diverse backgrounds, seniors and older people, young people, children and families, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, people with a mental illness, volunteers, people with a disability and their families and carers, and people who are homeless.
