The Annual Report Guidelines for Queensland Government Agencies 2007-08, prepared by the Department of the Premier and Cabinet, included a checklist to ensure that an agency's annual report complies with all requirements under the legislation and other reporting requirements. Agencies were encouraged to publish the completed checklist on their websites.
The checklist outlines the governance, performance, reporting compliance and procedural requirements of the Financial Administration and Audit Act 1977 and the Financial Management Standard 1997 and references the relevant sections of the annual report where each disclosure requirement has been addressed.
