The Tenancy Law Workshop provides an opportunity for housing staff to learn about key topics that arise during tenancy management.
Workshops are free and provide information to new and experienced property managers and agents. The workshop also provides an opportunity to meet Residential Tenancies Authority (RTA) staff and ask questions.
Topics covered in the workshop include:
- Overview of tenancy law and the role of the RTA
- Your rights and responsibilities
- Key information relating to the start, during or end of a tenancy
- RTA forms
- Water charging
- Dispute resolution
- Going to the Tribunal
Workshops run for approximately 90 minutes.
