On 24 February 2010 the Department of Communities held a seminar to brief stakeholders on the findings from the evaluation of the Responding to Homelessness Strategy 2005-09.
Presentations were made on a number of individual evaluations:
- Homeless Persons Court Diversion Program Pilot by Carolyn Mason and Shirley Watters (CreativeSparks)
- Queensland Health Homeless Initiative by Rhonda Phillips (Univeristy of Queensland Social Research Centre)
- Department of Communities' Initiatives by Dr Robyn Keast and Dr Glen Murphy (Queensland Univeristy of Technology)
- Department of Housing's Initiatives by Susan Rudland (Urbis)
- Strategic Impact Evaluation by Susan Rudland (Urbis)
During this seminar stakeholders also had the opportunity to participate in a discussion with a diverse panel, including some of the presenters and representatives from non-government organisations and government.
