Members of Queensland's discrete Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities are encouraged to contribute to a new Queensland Indigenous Home Ownership discussion paper.
The discussion paper describes the actions the Queensland Government is taking to enable home ownership on Indigenous communal lands. These communal lands include Aboriginal Deed of Grant in Trust lands, Torres Strait Islander Deed of Grant in Trust Lands, and the Mornington and Aurukun Shire lease lands. The paper also gives readers the opportunity to influence future Queensland Government decisions to better enable home ownership.

Please email your responses to homeownership.policy@communities.qld.gov.au.
Consultation sessions will be held in communities starting early in the new year.
