In Queensland, property and tenancy mangers must be approved by the Queensland Government (Department of Housing and Public Works) before leasing property available under the National Rental Affordability Scheme.
Tenancy managers for National Rental Affordability Scheme dwellings may be:
- a Registered Housing Provider under the Housing Act 2003
- a licensed real estate agent under the Property Agents and Motor Dealers Act 2000, or
- Local Government.
To apply to become a tenancy manager under the National Rental Affordability Scheme an application must be lodged with the Department of Housing and Public Works by the Approved Participant.
