The Department of Communities (Housing and Homelessness Services) has a range of services to assist Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to find secure and affordable housing. The types of assistance available include information and advice on housing services, bond loans, rental grants and rental housing provided either through the department, community organisations or local governments.
