What is a rental statement?
Your rental statement shows the balance of your account (in much the same way as a bank statement) and lists all charges by the department and payments made by you for the last 12 months.
When do I receive a rental statement?
You will automatically receive the latest statement of your account whenever your rent changes. You will also receive a rental statement every 12 months when your rent is reviewed.
You may also request a statement of your rental account at any time. Contact your nearest Housing Service Centre and they will send one to you.
Should I keep my rental statements?
You should keep all rental account statements for your own records. Whenever you request a statement, it will normally only show transactions that have occurred since the date of the last statement. If you lose any of your statements, contact your local Housing Service Centre and they will send you a statement from any date you require.
