If you receive income support payments from the Department of Veterans' Affairs, you can pay your rent and maintenance payments electronically via EasyPay.
This means rent is paid to the department directly from your Department of Veterans' Affairs payment each fortnight. This is automatically done on the same day you receive your payment, saving you time and effort.
The EasyPay service is free and is available to anyone in the household who receives a Department of Veterans' Affairs payment.
Clients who wish to use this service need to ensure their personal details recorded on the Department of Housing's records are exactly the same as those recorded with the Department of Veterans' Affairs. These details include name, date of birth and Department of Veterans' Affairs reference number.
Some clients may have multiple reference numbers with the Department of Veterans' Affairs. Please contact the Department of Veterans' Affairs to confirm which is your current reference number.
