
A new policy and criteria for tenants applying for a transfer came into effect on 22 September 2008, as part of the new client intake and assessment process.
The process is used to assess applications for social housing. This includes applications for transfers from one Department of Housing property to another.
When existing tenants apply for a transfer, their application will be assessed on how well the current property meets their needs.
Area office staff are available to explain the new criteria and assist tenants who are considering applying for a transfer.
