To arrange for the payout of a home loan (excluding Rental Purchase Plan), please telephone the department's Loan Payouts section on 07 3224 7202 with your account number ready.
Brisbane Settlements
You must notify the department at least three working days prior to settlement. Settlements are conducted in our Brisbane office at Level 8, 61 Mary Street, Brisbane.
Settlements Outside Brisbane
For settlements outside Brisbane, you must provide at least five working days' notice.
Settlement is conducted at one of our regional offices or by an agent appointed by us.
At settlement, in exchange for a bank cheque, the department will provide you with the appropriate documents for lodgement in the Department of Environment and Resource Management (Titles Office).
You will be required to acknowledge receipt of the documents, and our office will advise you of this and any other requirements prior to settlement.
These documents should be lodged immediately after settlement and a lodgement fee is payable to the Department of Environment and Resource Management.
