You may occasionally find it difficult to meet your monthly instalment. This may be due to reasons such as unemployment or reduction in income, illness or injury, family or marital problems or because you are coping with other expenses such as rates and maintenance.
If you experience difficulties at any time or there is a problem that may occur in the future, please contact the department for the cost of a local call on 1300 654 322 as soon as possible or before the end of the month when your repayment is due.
There are several ways we may be able to help. If tackled early, most problems can be managed effectively.
