Refinancing your home loan

• Refinancing your Department of Communities home loan

  To arrange for the payout of a home loan (excluding Rental Purchase Plan), please telephone the department's Loan Payouts section on (07) 3224 7202 with your account number ready.

• Transferring your Department of Communities home loan

  If you have obtained finance through the department and you want to transfer your share of your home to someone else, you must first obtain the consent of the department or obtain a Court Order

• Consent for additional mortgages

  A second mortgage may be required when you obtain additional finance through a private lender. Generally, the initial contact with the department is from that private lender.
