In Queensland, the Department of Communities (Housing and Homelessness Services) refers eligible applicants to approved tenancy managers of National Rental Affordability Scheme properties. To become an approved applicant you will need to complete the National Rental Affordability Scheme On-line application form.

To be approved as an applicant, you agree to be bound by the Privacy Notice and declarations.

If you are currently on the department's housing register and would like to apply for a property to rent through the scheme please call the department's call centre on 1300 880 882 to register your interest.

Please note, the Department of Communities does not own, manage or allocate housing made available under the National Rental Affordability Scheme. The department refers eligible applicants from its housing register (NRAS applicants) to the appointed tenancy managers for selection.
