2011 Queensland Multicultural Festival

Thousands of people descended on the Roma Street Parkland for the eighth annual Queensland Multicultural Festival on Sunday 16 October 2011.

More than 80 performances and 100 stalls represented over 75 cultural groups living in Queensland. The 2011 program was spread across six stages and five precincts including the highly successful “Let’s Talk Diversity” space.

The programmed artists included: Frank Yamma, Brisbane Babas Band, Laique, Sasta Irish Music Band, Queensland Chinese Philharmonic Choir, Dyan Tai and many, many more.

The 2011 Queensland Multicultural Festival was proudly sponsored by: Quest Community Newspapers, GOA Billboards, BEMAC, Roma Street Parkland, State Library of Queensland, Storey Bridge Hotel, Go Natural, Raw Power, Thankyou Water, Grove Juice, Aussie Farmers Direct, FISA Immigration, and Simon George and Sons.
