2007 Business Excellence Awards
Queensland business honoured for service to seniors
Seventeen businesses were honoured for offering excellent service to older Queenslanders at the 2007 Seniors Business Card Excellence Awards. The awards were presented at a ceremony in Rockhampton hosted by local ABC Radio presenter David Anderson. Guest speaker on the night was multi-award winning retailer, Barry Bull.
As in previous years, the 2007 awards were hotly contested with more than 555 nominations received. The number of regional awards increased from seven to eight this year, reflecting growth in the Seniors Card program in rural and regional Queensland.
