2005 Business Excellence Awards
State's most senior-friendly businesses rewarded
Eight Queensland businesses have been recognised for their outstanding customer service to seniors at the 2005 Seniors Card Business Excellence Awards.
The awards were presented at Jupiters Hotel and Casino in Townsville to businesses that recognise how good old-fashioned service is still the key to attracting and keeping customers, especially seniors.
An overwhelming number of nominations were received from Seniors Card holders who named service, products, price and convenience among the reasons they chose a particular business.
Dalrymple Tourist Van Park from Charters Towers won the major award of the evening, the Exceptional Business Award.

Winners and finalists in the 2005 Seniors Card Business Excellence Awards. The Member for Thuringowa represented Minister Pitt at the awards dinner presentation ceremony at Jupiters Hotel, Townsville on Friday 4 November.
