With more than 100 state sporting organisations, Queensland has a strong focus on developing specialised and tailored facilities for all Olympic, Paralympic and Commonwealth Games sports.

The Queensland Government through Stadiums Queensland, owns and operates some of the world's best international standard facilities.

The Queensland Government has also built strong partnerships with accommodation providers, sports service providers, sport and recreation organisations, private sports providers and local governments across the State all designed to enhance your experience of training and competing in Queensland.

If you are interested in training or competing in Queensland, we can:

• provide a comprehensive tour of facilities and accommodation in metropolitan and regional areas (Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba, Townsville and Cairns);
• aid the process of international teams entering Australia by arranging with airport agencies for speedy clearance through customs and quarantine; and
• coordinate meetings and facilitate relationships between international teams, national and state sporting organisations, facility managers, private providers, the education sector and Queensland Government agencies.

The Government also supports Queensland's state sporting organisations by:

• offering advice, support and opportunities to help them attract and create interest in facilities;
• providing up-to-date information about Queensland's elite sporting facilities;
• helping to export their sports services; and
• playing a support role during the running of international and national training camps and events held in Queensland.
