The Department of Communities manages three Sports Houses which are Queensland Government facilities that house regional, state and national sport and recreation organisations.

They provide low-cost office accommodation, equipment, administrative services and meeting room facilities to ensure sport and recreation groups have easy access to industry information and support.

  • Sports House Milton

    Sports House, located on the corner of Caxton and Castlemaine Streets at Milton (adjacent to Suncorp Stadium) and only 3 kms from the Brisbane CBD, is a Queensland Government facility managed by the Department of Communities.

  • Sports House South

    Sports House South is located at 866 Main Street Woolloongabba, adjacent to the famous Gabba stadium. The building is heritage listed and for many years was the site of the Woolloongabba police station.

  • Sports House Townsville

    Townsville Sports House is a Queensland Government facility adjoining the Townsville Sport Reserve which is managed by the Department of Communities.
