Sports House South

Sports House South is located at 866 Main Street Woolloongabba, adjacent to the famous Gabba stadium. The building is heritage listed and for many years was the site of the Woolloongabba police station.

Sports House South is also a Queensland Government owned facility managed by the Department and like its counterpart at Milton is the administrative home to a number of state, regional, and national organisations.

In addition to permanent office accommodation, Sports House South also provides well equipped meeting room facilities and communal resources.

The management and administration of Sports House South is conducted by the Manager and Administration Officer based at Sports House (Milton).

Meeting room facilities

Sports House South offers two meeting rooms (1 and 2) with a shared kitchen facility. The rates of hire are included on the current price list (PDF, 6 KB) current price list (RTF, 11 KB).

Meeting room 1 has a seating capacity of 20 people and features an automated data projection system. Meeting room 2 can accommodate up to 12 people and equipment available can be arranged at the time of booking.

For meetings conducted after normal business hours the on site parking consists of 18 bays. There is no on site parking available during business hours due to the occupation of all available bays by permanent tenants.
