Sports House Townsville

Townsville Sports House is a Queensland Government facility adjoining the Townsville Sport Reserve which is managed by the Department of Communities.

It is home to a number of regional, state and national sport and recreation organisations and provides low-cost office accommodation, equipment, administrative services and meeting room facilities to ensure sport and recreation groups have easy access to industry information and support.

Gym

The Sports House gym has been designed for elite athlete strength and conditioning training. The facility includes a fully equipped athlete food bar, a medical screening room, an interview room and separate male and female change rooms.

Conference Rooms

The Sports House conference room can seat up to 70 people in theatre style. The room can also be separated into a large and small room with a sound proof operable wall. Conference Room 1 is fully equipped with a touch panel control system that operates the retractable screen, sound system, data projector, DVD player and laptop computer.
