Please choose from the following funding programs or funded activities to find out what you need to do:
1. Develop, upgrade or expand a facility or develop an activity space
Includes infrastructure projects such as sporting fields, courts, lighting, bike or walking paths and more.
Includes funding received under the Sport and Recreation Infrastructure Program, Minor Facilities Program, Major Facilities Program and the Local Sport and Recreation (Places) Program.
2. Conduct participation, training, educational or planning projects
Includes events and initiatives such as come and try days, skill development training, coaching and accreditation courses, volunteer initiatives, administration and governance training, developing plans and more.
Includes projects funded under the Sport and Recreation Active Inclusion Program, Club Development Program and the Local Sport and Recreation Progam.
3. Further develop a state sporting organisation or industry service organisation
Includes funding to State Sport and Active Recreation Organisations to promote and support the development of healthy and socially inclusive communities through sport and recreation activities and programs.
4. Employ a person in a sport or active recreation role
Includes employment costs of a Local Sport and Recreation coordinator who will help organisations with matters such as fundraising, promotional activities and sponsorships at grassroots level.
