If you have received funding from the department to employ a person in a sport or recreation role, you need to acknowledge the Queensland Government's support in a number of ways.

1. Advertising

Use the Queensland Government logo or acknowledgement statement when advertising funded positions:

• Websites, newspapers and magazines
  When advertising on websites and in publications, include the Queensland Government logo in your advertisements. Refer to using our logos for information about how to do this.

• Radio
  When advertising on radio include the statement, "the Queensland Government is proud to provide funding to (insert name of organisation) to get more Queenslanders active through sport and recreation", in your scripts.

2. Using the Queensland Government acknowledgment statement

The following statement should be used to acknowledge the funding you have received from the Queensland Government:

The Queensland Government provided (insert organisation name) to (insert project, program, service, name) to get more Queenslanders active through sport and recreation.

Include this statement in any materials promoting the project including (but not limited to):

• newsletters
• websites
• media releases
• speeches
• magazine articles
• annual reports

3. Uniforms and business cards for the Local Sport and Recreation Coordinators

Uniforms

When a uniform is worn by the Coordinator in the performance of their duties in the community, the Queensland Government logo should be included on their work uniforms/shirts. You need to seek the department's endorsement for logo placement before ordering the uniform/shirt. This is to ensure there are no conflicts between an organisation's sponsors and the Queensland Government. Contact your allocated departmental sport and recreation officer for endorsement.

Business cards

When business cards are printed for the Coordinator, include the Queensland Government logo on the cards. You need to seek the department's endorsement for logo placement before printing the cards. This is to ensure there are no conflicts between an organisation's sponsors and the Queensland Government. Contact your allocated departmental sport and recreation officer for endorsement.
