Q: What sport and recreation organisations/ clubs are eligible to participate?
A: Not for profit sport and recreation organisations and clubs can participate.
Q: Is there any cost for my sport or recreation organisation/ club to participate?
A: No.
Q: How does my organisation register to participate in the day?
A: You can contact your local sport and recreation office and they will provide you with a registration form.
Q: Can our club hold 'come and try' activities at the day?
A: Depending on the venue and facilities, we would encourage you to run 'come and try' activities. Please make contact with your local sport and recreation office to confirm what facilities are available.
Q: What equipment do we need to bring?
A: The department will be supplying each organisation with a marquee (outdoor events only), table and chairs to use. If you have your own marquee, table and chairs please advise your local sport and recreation office and they will assign you a space to set up. The use of marquees is for outdoor events only.
Q: What signage and promotional material can we use on the day?
A: We encourage you to place signage up at your marquee. Please bring promotional material which is relevant to your sporting club. We discourage you from providing promotional material relevant to any commercial organisations.
Q: Can my club register children to come and join my club?
A: One of the aims of the day is for clubs to sign children up to join their clubs. We would encourage you to promote your sport and sign children up to join your club or organisation. Alternately you may wish to take a register of expression of interest for the future.
